Blue Archive is an anime-style RPG where you lead a group of heroines as they fight to save the city from countless enemy attacks. This is an RPG where it's as important to win battles as it is to spend time with the characters and bond with them.
In Blue Archive, you'll spend lots of time fighting enemies with teams that consist of four main characters and two supporting characters. Although the heroines of Kivotos fight automatically, you can intervene to unleash their special attacks and change the course of the battle. Each character in the game has her own abilities, so you'll have to take care to form diverse teams that can handle all kinds of situations, including various enemies, scenarios, and final bosses...
The narrative scenes are one of the best parts of this anime-style RPG. The protagonist in Blue Archive has lost her memory, and it's your job to recover it as you advance the story and learn more about the other heroines from various academies in the city of Kivotos. These visual novel quests not only take you through the game's story, but they also strengthen your bonds with its characters as you improve their skills, discover new characters, and even find love. You can also interact with them through Momo Talk, an in-game messaging client.
Blue Archive is an excellent RPG with very fun battles and a wide cast of characters you'll definitely want to meet. This RPG has amazing production value, including dubbing for all the heroines, which makes the narrative scenes inspired by visual novels much more enjoyable. All this on top of the game's stellar anime-style graphics, as well as the Super Deformed artistic style used for battles.
